Thomas C. Tennant, 69 , of Elgin passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 30, 2011 atCentral DuPage Hospital, Wheaton. He was born on November 5, 1941 in Elgin the son of William F. & Catherine (Ring) Tennant.

Tom was a lifelong resident of Elgin, he was a graduate of Elgin High School and served in the US Army and was stationed in Korea. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 501 for 50 years before retiring in 2007.

He was preceded in death by his parents

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 11:30 AM in the Laird Funeral Home, Elgin. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8 PM in the funeral home.
