State of Illinois Plumbing Licenses:

Your Illinois license must be renewed by April 30th each year.  The Illinois Department of Public Health annually mails renewal forms during the month of February. In addition, journeymen plumbers must maintain their skills by attending a four-hour continuing education class each year

Chicago Plumbing Licenses:

Your City of Chicago license must be renewed each year before your anniversary date.  The Chicago Bureau of Licensing must be renewed using their online renewal system.  Plumbers will find the online renewal system on the Chicago Department of Buildings website at  http://www.cityofchicago.org/city/en/depts/bldgs/provdrs/gen_contract/news/2010/apr/license_renewal_processon-line.html
