TWIC CARD
Posted On: Oct 28, 2011

Some of the travel jobs that are available to our members may require a TWIC security card.  The Department of Transportation Security Administration administers the issuance of these security credentials.  The Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) is a security measure that will ensure individuals who pose a threat do not gain unescorted access to secure areas of the nation's maritime transportation system.

These cards are required at any job that involves a port. Although the BP Refinery job in Whiting, Indiana does not require a TWIC, it maybe helpful in securing a job.

Click on the link below to access the TSA’s website and more information on the TWIC card.
