Raymond N. Batten; age 84; Retired Plumber and Instructor for Local 501; beloved husband of Betty E. Batten nee Blank. Loving father of Deborah (the late Michael) LaBonte, Sharon (Leanard) Fisher, John (Cathy) Batten, Kathy (Don) Niestrom, Beth (Tim) Howerton, Amy (Stanley) Maslankowski, Raymond Batten, Margaret (Shane) O'Flaherty and the late Linda (Bob) Doyle. Dear Grandfather of 26 Grand Children and Step Grand Children & Great Grandfather of 7 Brother of Sr. Thomas Batten, Barbara (Sam) Ensalco, Rosemary Wilkens the late Bill. Batten, Cletus Batten, Charles Batten, George Batten and Robert Batten. Visitation Tuesday 3-8pm with prayer service at 6pm. Funeral Wednesday 9:30 am from Adams Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home 4343 Main St. (1 block south of Ogden Ave.) Downers Grove to St. Mary of Gostyn Church for 10:00 am mass. Interment Private.
