Born January 25, 1967, in Des Plaines, the son of Joseph James and Barbara Jo (Gable) Badenoch, Jim was the loving husband of 22 years in August of Kelly Jean (née Guerzon); loving and wonderful dad of Mikayla and Cameron; loving son of Barbara (Leo) Roberson, Joseph James (Sharon) Badenoch; loving son-in-law of Maureen (Jim Watson) Guerzon, Larry (Teri) Guerzon; loving brother of Cindy (Rich) Antczak, Sandy (Dave) Dombrowski; loving brother-in-law of Larry (Su) Guerzon, Lance (Katey) Guerzon; loving uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to all.
A 1985 graduate of Palatine High School, Jim was a plumber by trade. He had a kind and generous heart and was always willing to lend a hand to family or friend. Jim was very involved in his children’s lives, helping with Mikayla’s softball teams and coaching Cam’s hockey and baseball teams. Jim was an avid Blackhawk’s fan (“Go, Hawks!”) and loved playing hockey himself.
Jim had a wonderful smile, funny sense of humor, and quick wit, always making his family smile: “We will remember the happy times and send you all our love and prayers. See you in our dreams.”
The memorial service to celebrate Jim’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 23, at Oak Club of Genoa, 11770 Ellwood Greens Road, Genoa, IL 60135.
Cremation is by Anderson Funeral Home Crematory.
