

Frieders, John F. Age 71, of Yorkville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the Hillside Rehab and Care Center in Yorkville, IL. He was born August 14, 1941 in Aurora, IL the son of Frank and Margaret (Wieler) Frieders. John, the youngest of eight, grew up on a dairy farm south of Oswego. He attended St. Mary's Catholic Grade School in Aurora, and graduated from Marmion Military Academy in 1960. John served his country proudly with the United States Army for two years, and spent a short time in Vietnam as a Maintenance Mechanic. He was united in marriage on February 14, 1970 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Plano, IL, to Janet Rybowicz, and they had three sons together. Mr. Frieders was employed as a plumber and belonged to the Local 501 Plumbers & Pipefitters. He was later employed as a janitor for the Yorkville School District. John was a past member of the Aurora Phoenix Club. He was a very hard worker, a private person with a deep religious faith. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by his wife, Janet Frieders, of Yorkville, IL; his sons, Mark (Tracy) Frieders, Michael (Terri) Frieders, and Greg (Beckie) Frieders; his grandchildren, Faith, Hope, John, Luke, Josh, Cole, and Tate Frieders, with one more soon-to-be; his brother, Donald Frieders; his sisters, Dorothy Ingraham, Lois Curry, and Joyce (Dan) Dore; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Audrey Weisbrook; his brothers, Richard and Jim Frieders; his brothers-in-law, Billy Curry, Gene Ingraham, and Gene Weisbrook; and his sisters-in-law, Rose, Pat and Joan Frieders. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, July 1, 2013 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, 406 Walnut St., Yorkville, IL, with Father Michael Callea, MIC, officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, in Bristol, IL. Friends may visit from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 E. Countryside Pkwy., Yorkville, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials in John's name may be directed to the
